Snowmobile right from the door of our luxury rental house. Within minutes you can legally ride to the great trails of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula, providing hundreds of miles of trails to ride and explore. Eagle River, the snowmobile capital of the world, features the Classic Vintage Weekend and the Amsoil World Chamionship Snowmobile Derby Races as well as several Motorcross Races throughout the season at the Eagle River Derby Track. We are ideally located at the southern end of the Lake Superior Snow Belt, but not too far from Eagle River for easy access, which means we get a lot more snow than Eagle River. The house is divided into two apartments up and down connected by a common sunroom over the outside stairs. The house has a knotty pine interior with log beams and banisters. It is built to be very comfortable in the winter with plenty of insulation, good windows, nice warm hot water heat and ceiling fans for the summer. The upper apartment has three bedrooms, cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace in the living room, dining room and complete kitchen. This apartment has one and a half bathes with tub/shower combination in the full bath. The two loft bedrooms have a double bed in each, the main floor bedroom is equipped with two twin beds and there is a futon couch in the living room. The downstairs apartment has one bedroom with a double bed, living room, dining room, complete kitchen and bath with a shower. The living room is also equipped with a futon couch, which converts into a double bed. The house can be rented as a whole or two apartments. Winter access at the Forty Acre Woods has no worries, we maintain our road with a tractor complete with a 6 foot snowblower.
