Pinecone Place

Snuggled among the trees of our Forty-Acre Woods in beautiful Northern Wisconsin our luxury cabin is a wonderful place to experience the Northwoods. Located on the Headwaters of the Wisconsin River, thirteen miles North of Eagle River and six miles from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Pinecone Place is a perfect four-season get-away. The Northwoods of Wisconsin is a winter wonderland, with consistent snow from December thru March. There are many cross-country ski trails in the area, with skiing right from the door on our own wonderful trail system. Eagle River, Wisconsin is known as the snowmobile capital of the world with thousands of miles of connecting trails. It only takes a few minutes to sled, from RWT's Forty-Acre Woods, to these excellent trails making Pinecone Place an excellent choice for the Snowmobiler. Summer canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking and biking; winter skiing and snowmobiling; fall festivals, hunting and wonderful colors, and spring with its great fishing all make Pinecone Place a true four season destination!

The house is divided into two units up and down connected by a common sunroom over the outside stairs. The house has a knotty pine interior with log beams and banisters. It is built to be very comfortable in the winter with plenty of insulation, good windows, nice warm hot water heat and ceiling fans for the summer.

The Upper Unit

The upper unit has three bedrooms, cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace in the living room, dining room and complete kitchen. This unit has one and a half bathes with tub/shower combination in the full bath. The two loft bedrooms have a double bed in each, the main floor bedroom is equipped with two twin beds and there is a hide-a-bed in the living room. Six Guests standard. Extra Guest: $10.00 per day per person. Eight Guests maximum. Rental $115.00 per day $650.00 per week Add 5.5 % Sales Tax

The Lower Unit

The downstairs unit has one bedroom with a double bed, living room, dining room, complete kitchen and bath with a shower. The living room is also equipped with a futon couch, which converts into a double bed. Two Guests standard. Rental $75.00 per day $450.00 per week. Extra guests: $10.00 per day per person. Four Guests maximum. Add 5.5% Sales Tax.

Complete House

Eight Guest Standard. Rental $165.00 per day $900.00 per week. Extra Guest: $10.00 per day per person Twelve Guests maximum. Add 5.5% Sales Tax.

Wisconsin River from RWT Landing During the summer we offer many scenic canoe trips from our private canoe landing on the wild Headwaters of the Wisconsin River. This spring-fed river is also nice for swimming and fishing with many other lakes close by to satisfy even the most ardent fisherman. This area of Wisconsin, with endless country roads and many fabulous hiking and mountain biking trails, is also great for biking and hiking.

Rental includes:

Complete kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans, bowls, utensils, silverware, microwave, toaster, coffeepot, dishtowels and potholders. Each unit has a TV and a VCR. Bed linens are furnished for the bedrooms. Each unit is carpeted in the living room, dining room and bedrooms. Towels are not provided and are the responsibility of the renter Absolutely No Pets and No Smoking allowed in the house. Loft is not appropriate for children 6 and under.

Deposit Required: One night's rental required at time of booking along with $50.00 damage and cleaning deposit which is refundable after check-out inspection. Minimums: Two nights, Three nights during snowmobile derby. One week rental December 26 thru January1.
